About Joanna
MY SKINCARE STORY
In 2002 at 49 years old, I’d been working as a massage therapist for 15 years. After moving to the Valley, I worked at Brooks and Butterfield Day Spa, doing massage. Believe it or not, I had never had a facial or any kind of skincare treatment. I’d never worn sunscreen and had maybe put on a moisturizer, but that’s about it.
Well, when you’re working at a spa there are benefits…I signed up for a facial and WOW. My skin had had no idea what it was missing, and I was hooked. The products revived my skin and the knowledge I gained on what your skin needs and how and why it works fascinated me. So, in 2003 I went to The New England School of Esthetics here on Pleasant Street in Northampton. It was an in-depth learning of the skin’s chemistry, and so much more. I studied and studied so hard and passed with flying colors.
Since 2004 I have been doing skincare along with my massage therapy practice. I absolutely love esthetics. I get excited about the difference I see in my clients’ skin, teaching them about ingredients and what their skin needs and why. I can’t resist making sure you feel loved and cared for. It’s just me and my nature.
In my peaceful sanctuary and studio, I don’t have all the machines and bells and whistles, but I have my hands, my nature, and my brain. I can help with any issue with your skin. As in aging dehydrated thick skin, acne and acne scarring, hyperpigmentation (sunspots) and more.
I’m budget friendly, and I use professional products that work and that I sell.
I love waxing eyebrows and making them beautiful. I can tint them and your eyelashes.
I look forward to your visit.
